The Town of Colonial Beach Golf Cart Ordinance authorizes golf carts to be operated in town after the golf cart has been inspected and a town decal has been obtained. Keep in mind that the operation of golf carts on Town streets has some restrictions to include the following:
- Licensed drivers only can operate Golf Carts in town.
- Must be driven at all times in accordance with all motor vehicle laws.
- Golf Carts must pull to the right of the road for overtaking traffic from the rear.
- Golf Carts are not allowed on the beaches.
