| | May Ribbon Cuttings in Colonial Beach |
| | | Colonial Beach recently saw a flurry of excitement as three restaurants officially opened their doors to the public and one held a long-awaited ribbon cutting. With ceremonies throughout early May, residents and visitors welcomed these establishments with open arms and eager palettes. The festivities kicked off on Thursday, May 2nd, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Huasteca Mexican Restaurant. Located on 731 Colonial Ave., Huasteca delights diners with its authentic all day Mexican cuisine and relaxed atmosphere. The celebration continued on Friday, May 3rd, with not one, but two ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The first ceremony was held at Drift restaurant and oyster bar serving up fresh local fare for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Elevated low-country cuisine and good vibes encourage diners to celebrate the slower pace of river life. |

| Simultaneously, another ribbon-cutting took place at Muse, a fun-loving, playful spot. Serving pizza and a memorable atmosphere, Muse brings back the nostalgia of a day at the arcade and a stroll on the boardwalk. Both restaurants are located on 101 Taylor St. The ribbon-cutting ceremonies at both Drift and Muse drew crowds eager to support and celebrate relaxed waterfront dining. Finally, on Tuesday, May 7th, the town gathered again for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Sunflower. Located at 215 Washington Ave., The Sunflower is a charming café offering sake, sushi, sashimi, and an array of Asian-inspired dishes. The ribbon cutting marked the official opening of The Sunflower, much to the delight of cafe-goers in Colonial Beach. Overall, the week of ribbon cuttings showcased the town's vibrant spirit of entrepreneurship and community support. With Huasteca, Drift, Muse, and The Sunflower now officially serving, residents and visitors have even more reasons to explore and enjoy all that Colonial Beach has to offer. |
