2nd Friday Coffee Walks Colonial Buzz is open once again and Coffee Walks are back! Join the easy-going walking group at Colonial Buzz Espresso Bar inside Colonial Beach Brewing at 215 Washington Avenue every 2nd Friday. We start walking at 8:00 AM all the way to the end of the Town Pier and back. Our next walk happens Friday, October 11, 2024, 8:00 AM-10:00 AM. World Photography Day images can be seen at the Friday, October 11 ArtWalk, 6:00 PM-9:00PM at CoBe WorkSpaces (100 Hawthorn Street). Photo albums from the 2024 event will be available for sale. Fitness Classes at the Colonial Beach Community Center Fall Fitness classes are happening. For a list of upcoming classes at the Colonial Beach Community Center at 717 Marshall Avenue, email sadams@colonialbeachva.gov. Classes are $7 per session. Instructors offer discounts for signing up for 6 or 8 weeks of fitness on the first day of class.

2024 Yard Debris Pick up Schedule
Monday, November 11 thru Friday November 15 Monday, December 9 thru Friday December 13 Pickups will only take place on your trash day during the weeks listed above. We do not schedule individual pickups. Yard debris that needs to be disposed outside of these weeks is the resident's responsibility. Please make sure that yard debris is separated from your normal trash. Yard debris must be bagged or tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length, with branches no larger than 4 inches in diameter, and weigh no more than 40 lbs. |  | COLONIAL BEACH BIKE FEST is a four-day, blow-out motorcycle event is filled with vendors, bands, bike shows, and more. The streets of downtown Colonial Beach are lined with bikes of every make and model. The town greets 30,000+ visitors and black leather is the popular fashion statement. Make your reservations early as accommodations and restaurants fill up quickly.

|  | Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach, Virginia for their 7th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk. This Scenic 5K and 10K Race runs along the Potomac River in Colonial Beach. The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM. 5K Walkers of all ages are welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM. 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed) **Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your first choice and Oct. 12 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers.

Fall Festival and Golf Cart Parade |

|  | This fun-filled, family event takes place on Town Hill. The festival features food and craft vendors, family fun zone, a fire pit, music, and more. The day is capped off with a spectacular Halloween inspired decorated golf cart parade at 5:00 PM! Be sure to watch the carts drive “the Point” on the Saturday before Halloween.
